Siam Bakery

For a nice quiet bite of food in Phuket Town in nice air conditioned surroundings, Siam Bakery is perfect. It has a selection of freshly baked breads, tempting pastries including a great chocolate eclair, good coffee, and some really nice fresh sandwiches.

It's not a fancy place and the chairs, decor, and well, the whole place, is just a basic and clean bakery--the perfect thing really! It has a mix of Thai and foreign customers, which is a good indication that the prices are fair and the quality good. In fact, the pastries and breads are prepared by Jerome Vollais (which has a bunch of diacritics I can't type) who is French and brings his national expertise to the food.
